For over 10 years, the Independent Monitoring Team of Honduras (EMIH) has been involved in various processes by which it has sought to document and provide information to groups of workers of both genre on the conditions in which it develops its productive activity.
Similarly, special attention has been paid to the dissemination of labor rights that correspond to each man or woman who brings his work force in different types of production, assembly, melon, banana, coffee, informal economy, among others. What encourages this effort is the hope that it will be useful in the task of becoming the architects of our own transformation.
These processes have also facilitated the exchange of experiences with organizations fighting for their rights in other countries, discovering, in this way, the importance of promoting partnerships and the use of different forms of struggle, the conquest of labor rights.
Forums, talks, seminars, lectures, focus groups, surveys, interviews, have been part of the techniques used for this exchange of information that strengthens both those who facilitate and to the workers and workers involved.
Knowing that communication is a vital tool in the task of monitoring and dissemination of progress and challenges in the effective enjoyment of human rights, EMIH want to share through this page, all this information, as a small contribution in the search for different forms of struggle. We also make available to any person who accesses our site, the product of our efforts in monitoring and documenting different events that impact the lives of workers.
