Education: In order to contribute to the formation of leaders with the capacity to advocate in building a society which respects human dignity, our priority is to work with women are engaged in diverse productive sectors. Via discussion groups, workshops and educational materials, we reflect on what is happening in the world and its impact on the daily lives of working people. Issues under consideration
include the effects of free trade agreements on the maquila industry and on labor rights.
Research: We investigate and systematically document the behavior of the labor market,
workers´ rights, the maquila sector, agro-export industries and non-regulated work.
Independent Monitoring: We work with national and international stakeholders to agree upon and establish processes of monitoring and verification of labor conditions in urban and rural export-processing factories.
Information-sharing: Convinced that information is useful only if it is available, we share information with different stakeholders via processes of formation, fora, conferences, publications and electronic communication.
